Assigning a Test Using an Active Test Link

Assigning a Test Using an Active Test Link

Overview

The Active Test Link feature allows administrators to share a test using a unique URL instead of assigning it directly to candidates. The link can be shared with candidates, added to a website, or embedded within an external web page for easy access.

Test Manager → Action (⋮) → Assign Test

OR

Test Manager → Edit Test → Step 5: Assign Test

  1. Navigate to Test Manager.

  2. Hover over the Action menu (three vertical dots) for the required test and click Assign Test.

    • Alternatively, edit the test and navigate to Step 5: Assign Test.

  3. On the left side of the screen, locate the Active Link section.

The following options are available:

Assign Test to Candidates

Assign the test to selected candidates using the active test link.

Assign Test and Send Email

Assign the test to candidates and automatically send the test invitation via email.

The Add Link to Test on Your Website option provides a shareable URL that can be added to an external website.

When a candidate clicks this link, they are redirected to the Think Exam platform to access the test.

Embed Test on Your Website

The Embed Test on Your Website option allows the test to be integrated directly into an external website using an embed code.

Candidates can access and attempt the test within the external website interface without being redirected.

If required, administrators can disable the active test link to prevent candidates from accessing the test through the shared URL.

Important Notes

  • Ensure the test is published before sharing the active test link.

  • The active link can be disabled at any time to restrict access.

  • Choose Add Link to Your Website if candidates should be redirected to the Think Exam platform.

  • Choose Embed Test on Your Website if you want candidates to access the test directly from your website.
