How to Add a Match the Matrix Question

Overview

The Match the Matrix question type allows administrators to create questions where candidates match items from the left column with one or more corresponding options in the right column.

Question Module → Question Sub-Module

Steps to Add a Match the Matrix Question

  1. Navigate to Question Module → Question Sub-Module.

  2. Click Add to create a new question.

  3. Select the required Subject and Topic.

  4. Choose Match the Matrix as the Question Type.

  5. Enter the question statement.

  6. Add the items in the left column and the corresponding options in the right column.

  7. Open the Advanced Options tab and enter the Right Marks for the question.

  8. Configure any additional settings, if required.

  9. Click Save to add the question to the Question Bank.

Important Notes

  • The number of options in the right column must be greater than or equal to the number of items in the left column.

  • A single item in the left column can be matched with multiple options in the right column, if required.

  • Verify all matching combinations before saving the question to ensure accurate evaluation.
