Overview
Bonus marking can be applied in cases where an exam contains errors such as incorrect questions, typos, or mistakes in the answer key. It can also be given if a question is found to be overly difficult or ambiguous. These decisions are typically made at the discretion of the educational body or examining authority.
Steps to allow Bonus Marking
1. Navigate to Test Manager and click on Test.
2. Click the three dots next to the desired test and select Allow Bonus Marking.
3. Choose between:
- For Attempted Candidates Only: Bonus marks are given to candidates who attempted the question(s).
- For All Candidates: Bonus marks are given to all candidates, regardless of whether they attempted the question(s).
4. Select the question(s) you want to apply bonus marks to, click Next, and then click on Finish
5. Click the three dots next to the test again and select Regenerate Result to update the marks based on your bonus marking selection.
Note: Bonus marking is not applicable to pool tests.
