How to Create Subjective Questions?
The Subjective question type enables administrators to create descriptive questions where candidates can provide answers in text, upload documents, record audio, or submit code, depending on the configured settings.
Steps to Create a Subjective Question:
- Log in to the Admin Panel.
- Navigate to the Question module.
- Click the Add button.
- Select the required Question Entry Options, such as Subject and Topic, and choose Subjective as the Question Type.
- Enter the question in the Type Your Question field.
Configure the required response options:
- Is Typing: Allows candidates to type their answers.
- Is Compiler: Enables the integrated code compiler for programming questions.
- Text Area Enable: Provides a larger text area for descriptive responses.
- Document Upload: Allows candidates to upload supporting documents along with their answers.
- Is Recorder: Enables candidates to record and submit an audio response.
- Is Document Type: Allows candidates to submit their response as a document.
Expand the Add Explanation section to provide a detailed explanation or solution for the question.
- You can also add a Video Solution URL to help candidates understand the solution.
- If different video links are required for mobile and web users, enable If Mobile/Web URL are Different and provide separate URLs.
Expand Advance Options and configure the required settings, such as:
- Right Marks
- Negative Marks (if applicable)
- Difficulty Level
- Click Save to create the question.
Note : The options available to candidates during the assessment depend on the settings configured while creating the question.
