Overview
Resetting a test attempt allows you to give candidates another opportunity to take the test, whether they've accidentally submitted it or wish to reattempt it.
Steps to Reset a Test Attempt
Method 1
1. Navigate to the Test Manager and click on Test
2. Click on the candidate count under Candidates.
3. Use the drop-down menu next to the Apply button and select Result Generated.
4. Click on the Reset button to reset the attempt for the selected candidate(s).
Please Note: After resetting, the previous test count will not be reverted, and a new test count will be deducted if a candidate reattempts the test. The previous attempt will be removed from the panel.
Method 2
1. In the Test Manager, click the three dots next to the test you want to allow reattempts for, and select Edit.
2. Go to Step 2 (Test Settings) and scroll down to Test Attempt and Resume Settings.
3. Enable Allow Multiple Attempts and select the Multiple Attempt Type. Choose "Test-wise" to allow all candidates to reattempt or "Candidate-wise" to allow specific candidates to reattempt.
4. Specify the number of allowed attempts in the provided box. You can also define on which attempt the rank should be generated.
