Question Retirement Feature
Overview
The Question Retirement feature allows administrators to automatically retire questions from future tests based on predefined usage and age criteria. This helps maintain question freshness, reduces overexposure of frequently used questions, and improves the overall quality of assessments.

Steps to Configure Question Retirement
- Navigate to Question Module → Question Sub-Module.
- Filter the questions based on Subject or any other required criteria.
- Select the checkbox corresponding to the question(s) for which you want to enable the retirement feature.
- Click the three vertical dots (More Actions) and select Set Question Retirement.
- Configure the retirement criteria:
- Count – The maximum number of times the question can appear in tests before it is retired.
- Creation Days – The age of the question (in days) after which it becomes eligible for retirement.
- Click Save to apply the configuration.
Retirement Criteria
A question is automatically retired when the configured retirement conditions are met.

| Count | The number of times the question has appeared in previous tests. |
| Creation Days | The number of days since the question was originally created. |
Monitoring Retired Questions
The retirement status and related details can be viewed in the Question Report, allowing administrators to track retired questions and their retirement criteria.
Important Notes
- Question retirement helps prevent repeated exposure of the same questions in assessments.
- Retirement is applied automatically once the configured criteria are satisfied.
- Administrators can review retirement details through the Question Report.
