A Discussion Forum in the Think Exam platform is a feature that allows users (such as candidates or learners) to communicate with the instructors by posting questions or issues.
Here's a breakdown of its purpose and functionality:
Choose Subject: Dropdown to categorize your query (like test issue, login problem, etc.).
Ask Your Question: Text box to type your message or issue.
Attachment Option (📎): Allows users to upload files (e.g., screenshots) for better clarity. Please note only png, jpeg, jpg and PDF files are supported here.
Send Button: To submit the query.
Ask New Question Button: Lets you start a fresh query thread.
Steps to access and utilize the Discussion Forum:
Step 1: We need to convert the sub-admins into experts by
following these steps.
Go to Admin Settings, then select Account, and click on Admin
User.

After clicking the pencil icon, select the "Expert" option from the dropdown menu.
Then, select the subjects and topics for which you want to enable the discussion feature, and click the
Save button.
Step 2: Log in to the Discussion Forum panel
Note: If you want to redirect users to the Discussion Forum Expert login page, simply append
/discussion_forum to your base URL.
Step 3: After logging in, select a Course (Groups) and Subject. Basically candidates
associated with the selected group will be able to ask questions.
After this you can add an expert upon clicking Add Expert.
Once this is done, candidates can log in to their panel and access the Discussion Forum
option from the left menu. They can raise a query by selecting the relevant subject.
The expert will be able to view all raised queries on the Home page of the Discussion Forum
panel after logging in.
Admins can click on the View Detail option to see the full query and respond to it accordingly.
