How is the Average Score calculated in Test Analytics (TA)?
The Average Score is calculated by dividing the total marks obtained by all candidates by the total number of candidates who appeared for the test.
Formula:
Average Score=Sum of all candidate scoresTotal number of candidatesAverage\ Score = \frac{Sum\ of\ all\ candidate\ scores}{Total\ number\ of\ candidates}
Average Score=Total number of candidatesSum of all candidate scores
Example:
Candidate | Score |
|---|
A | 60 |
B | 70 |
C | 80 |
D | 90 |
E | 100 |
Calculation
(60 + 70 + 80 + 90 + 100) ÷ 5
400 ÷ 5 = 80
So, the Average Score = 80.
Note: The Average Score helps you understand the overall performance level of candidates in the test. A higher average score indicates better overall performance across the batch.
