The process in Verificare where the software read the filled OMR
sheets and captures the marked answers and candidate details.
Note: The Darkness values (Min and Max) are not
fixed and depend on the sheet printing quality and how the bubbles are filled
by candidates.
For color-printed
sheets, the Darkness can typically be set between Min
30 and Max around 35, though slight adjustments
may be required based on the filling.
For black-and-white
printed sheets, higher Darkness values are recommended, generally in the range
of Min 45 and Max 65 depending on the bubble
fill quality. These values may vary and should be adjusted based on actual
sheet conditions for accurate reading.

Rectangles partially printed:
Rectangles
Missing:
This can happen because of:
● Blurred scan – Image is not clear.
● Faint print – Bubbles or rectangles are printed very lightly.
● Skewed scan – Sheet is tilted while scanning.
● Cut-off edges – Borders or alignment marks are
missing.
If a different or modified VER file is used that does not correspond to the scanned sheets, a rectangular error may occur. Additionally, if the entities in the VER file are misaligned or not positioned according to the scanned sheets, the same error can arise.
Therefore, it is essential that the VER file exactly matches the scanned sheets to prevent rectangular errors.
